It’s amazing how some dates are forever etched in your memory. Most of them are personal; little nuggets of memory immortalized by a single point in time. Some are iconic moments in your life, others small sparks that you will never forget.
9/11 is a collective memory. Regardless your politics, your beliefs, your biases or prejudices – it is a date that everyone remembers. Most people can tell you where they were, how they heard, people they knew and stories that were told.
I’m not going to spend any time writing about loss or my views on the aftermath of that date. I won’t even give you an opinion. Just a song. Written and performed by an artist Lila and I highly respect. It’s his take on the date and we are beholden to share it here.
